Description
I don't often shoot spiders (except jumpers) since I find them to be too common for my tastes. But when I saw this crawling around after watering and seeing the cool color it had, I had to bring it inside for a couple shots.
I believe this is just an Orb Weaver, but I have never seen one that is orange like this.
Photo'd on some black paper.
Thanks for looking.

It looks really cool!! Excellent macro. :)
a very nice spider!!!!! FANTASTIC macro!!!!!
Tangerine dream! Super creature!
Awesome full size!
If you've got spiders like that and you call them 'common', I'd hate to see the exotic ones. Our British spiders are mainly grey....like our sky.
Great macro! Have never seen a spider this color. Very nice!!
Impressing! ;)
I've not seen an orb spinner like this one before, and I must say that the orange color is quite amazing! I love the details you've captured. Since I'm not a part of any spider's diet, I love getting up close and personal--enough so to count their hairs and eyes and even see their rotator-cuff joints. This is a marvelous, exquisitely detailed photograph. Wonderful!
Thats one spooky looking critter! Nice photo.
Incredible!! WOW
Amazing colour.
Super Macro.
Zoom is a must, and at that size even the legs look dangerous - awesome macro!

Excellent....black paper is a good idea. I will have to try that...I just bought the macro ring lite so I have to figure out how to use it.
Look at that .. you have every hair in focus. And every eye lol Excellent :)
