Description
It friday so if you out and about and see some human bones it may belong to this man here.
got this from Baton Rogue, Louisiana. The grave yard is a private ownedhere. The state gives it around $1000 grant a year to fix it up. The grass here is not even cut.
i brought the camera from my son here. That why it a small photo for it on the wrong setting.
thanks for looking and comments

oh it is a black man grave yard dating back into the 1800's
Eeew! The grave was open? Poor dead guy. (:
Wow that's someting you don't see everyday.......
zoom is about the same size; sorry. I will check on the settings if I have to use someone camera besides my own. oh, wonder if he was bury in a sack you see around him and in the grave??? no casket
This is a great find. I have seen some bones in crypts here but they are protected with glass. And I've never had to pleasure to come upon a skull before.
Excellent find, lots of small old cemetaries are in the same condition across the country...
Great find..impressive shot! :)
A nice capture, sounds like the cemetery needs some attending.
Awesome capture, Jock!!!
nice image:)
the end is nigh
Wow - Rest in peace . . . !
Yeah--wow---amazing!!
This is incredibly amazing and probably of extreme historical significance! What a marvelous shot! I wonder if there is a way to identify that skull based on the grave it's in. Are there records of the plots, I wonder? If this is a Black grave yard, there probably aren't very many records, especially for the graves dating from the 1800s, but I'm sure that detective work could reveals something! This is quite amazing! Quite incredible!
Fantastic shot, Jocko! very fascinating and disturbing that the graveyards are allowed to fall into such disrepair
Alas, poor Yorick, I knew him well... Neat shot of this partial skull, Jock, especially with the lighting contrasts as they were.
Great one.. I might find bones but wouldn't do him any good!
A very interesting capture! I have seen many graves in this condition...it is shame no one cares for them.
Hay! Don't lose your head, well find them. ;D Great capture!
here a cemetery with 1700+ people was covered over by a street and conveniently forgotten. it was "rediscovered" during new construction for 75 North. they recovered all the bodies and made a burial in one common area with a monument for their memory I do not think I have ever seen a skull outside of a museum.obviously this graveyard is in poor condition. well seen Jock
I have to say this is an amazing photo Jock, and like Richard I've never seen a skull outside of a museum before. The graveyard really must be in great need of repairs. It's too bad an organization in the community doesn't try to repair it.
Amazing... Aloha
Nice find.
OMG! I know were are not to be afraid of the dead only the living can hurt us but I would be spooked out doing this your just to funny jocko only you would come up with a great find like this the places you go omg!you deserve a big 5 ++++ lol
Wow! Was this an open grave? did they open it for some reason? Most excellent capture!! And just a little spooky, too, grins!
Remarkable shot... excellent!

See....all he thought about was getting ahead in life and look where it got him, heeheehee. Ok, I'll shut up now.
This is in Baton Rouge? I'll have to tell Gail! I had an image of Marty Feldman singing, "I ain't got no body" Great find! I think some detective work is in order. Excellent image!
spooky.
