Description
'Heritage' as some of us do have roots in the Netherlands - as these South Africans showed in their support before the train arrived. Much of the same was evident on our walk today.
Sorry for haven given the impression that the children and I were going to the Netherland/Cameroon game. (It is half time 1-0 to the Dutch).
We caught the train to do the 2.4km fan walk from the Cape Town station to the stadium - as close as we were able without tickets. It was about allowing the children to experience the thrill and vibe of this international event. They did enjoy the time, leaving town just as the train/bus/taxi/car loads of fans blowing Vuvuzellas arrived!

Awww - the Dutch people are awesome supporters! I got an e-mail this morning of a whole group of them following their team in a convoy... Superb! This image is delightful and so representitive of all the lovely supporters of all the countries we see daily walking the streets of the country! Excellent shot Clive and I am glad you and the kids enjoyed the walk!
