Description
Delta Airlines terminal at Logan Airport, Boston, Massachusetts. There was a wall that was made up of hundreds of mirrors. As people walked by – they could watch their fractured image, in the mirrors, as they moved along. It was an eye catcher. My flight was delayed so I started looking for photo possibilities. What I found was that I could position a friend, on a certain spot and have her image appear in every mirror. An alternate title was “I feel like someone is looking over my shoulder”. Taken about 25 years ago, with a hand held film camera and scanned this morning.
Thanks for stopping by, taking a look and for all your previous comments.
They are very much appreciated.

This is so cool! I wonder if that mirror set is still there?
PRETTY COOL
Who's the fairest of them all????
What a disconcerting thing to see this live and in person! WOW! Talk about interactive art! Wonderful shot, and I love the tiled repetition...I'm sure there's a mathematical formula in there, but I'm not gonna bother to try and find it. I'll just enjoy the picture instead...and this is quite a doozy, I'm glad you SAW and posted this. WOW!
That's really interesting!
Reminds me of a lift ( elevator ) I have used with mirrors on the walls where the reflections go on forever.
Amazing. (and that still after 25 years ;D)
First I am a bit comfused - That was a hand held film camera - as opposed to a foot held ? :) - A photo ahead of it's time has finally found a home !!!
Interesting mirror... Aloha
Cool shot!
That looks crazy! Excellent shot. :)
Fascinating concept, nice shot!
This would give me the willies! Great shot though... :-)

TERRIFIC CAPTURE, WELL SEEN
Twenty five years ago? I didn't know we were that technologically advanced back then. I thought these were miniature tv screens at first. In any case, a very cool, astute and timely capture, Dana!
hahaha this is super
That is such a clever shot. Great orchestration and wonderful shot.
Very interesting , Dana , great idea ! Wonderful photo !
wonderful shot!!
That is clever,,, nice work Dana!
Very well done!
This is excellent! I too wondered if it is still there. I went googling and found a blog from Aug. 2008. So I guess it is! Cool! http://sarahheartsdesign.blogspot.com/2008/08/logan-airport-terminal-c.html I went into a ladies room at a station somewhere in England where the walls and ceiling were made of a metal that was so reflective, it acted like mirrors. I didn't notice it at first and once I did, you can imagine, I concluded business quickly and left. I always wondered whose brilliant idea that was. I like this idea a lot! I'd love to see something like this in person, as long as my face wasn't the one being reflected. Great job in getting your friends face positioned so well. I like the other person being in the shot too. Excellent titles, both!
