Description
I began posting a collage for each 100 postings with my 400th upload back on July 11, 2009.
This gives me an opportunity to review my gallery for what I like and what I'd like to add or subtract as I go forward..., subjects, colors, lighting, focus, postwork style, etc., etc.
I've been hearing a lot about the value of shooting in RAW of late and it has my attention. Will have to see about incorporating RAW in the future. My camera will do it. My version of Photoshop will do it. Now, I need to be able to do it. Does anybody have a favorite reference for shooting and postworking in RAW?
Saw this example just yesterday: RAW from Bentchick
Thanks for all of your continued support. Rendo sure is addicting, isn't it:-D
Photos for 700 were posted between Feb 24-Jun 22, 2010.

Beautiful collage..nicely done. Love the little dog!!
Rendo is WAY addicting, and there are a LOT of addicts around here. Isn't it great??? Super collage for your 700---looking forward to the next 700 as well!!
Congrats Bill! :) Wonderful work on this collage, good reflection of your work.
700th... Phewwww.... I am not even at 500 yet!!! Congratulations Bill!!! You certainly have a gallery to be proud of! And I remember every single one of the images on your collage and like(d) them all! Here's to many 700's more!!!!
I shot in raw before but then i know I had to change it to jpeg to upload here. I printed some in raw and jpeg and i did not see any diff in the prints. But i did not play with it too much for at that time my photoshop would not handle the raw. So I used a freeware that would edit the Raw shot. maybe that why the raw was almost the same as the jpeg? very good post here
Congrats on the milestone - I always enjoy your posts, you shoot such a variety of subjects.
I recognize everyone of your pieces here, Bill; and you captured many sides of your style, and reminded us, in the process, how many sides you have. It's nice you included your famous plane shots, one of your signature B&W's, Mandy (couldn't be complete without her), a couple of your vivid shots of commercial places, your beautiful nature shots, and of course some of your always-fine museum shots, including the playful, provocative shot that was part of the great Pop Art talk that you started. Another milestone for one of my favorite galleries; and considering how seriously you take this art, it's always been infectious how much fun you have at it. I hope you continue doing it for a long time: You do beautiful work but you're always seeking new ways to do it & always wanting to learn. It's wholly infectious, you never stop learning. So here's to lots more, Bill! A fine collage, and all my congratulations!
Tempus fugit! All interesting, or exciting, or challenging, or just plain cute, like your women!
Excellent collage. Congrats on your 700th!!
Fantastic collage...!!! Well done Bill...

Amazing collage. Congrats on your 700th :)
Congratulations. Keep them coming.
I have heard a bit of RAW being mumbled about behind me but I still do not know what it means, other then as something that can be done with the right camera. Go forth and discover! Great collage and grats on 700!
Great collection of images and congrats Bill.
Wonderful set of images in your collage; definitely work to be proud of!
Congrats on 700!!! Great collage!
SO lovely a collage indeed. You really did it beautifully. Congratulations with your 700th
Wonderful collage! Congratulations on 700!!! I think my Canon and do raw, I'll have to look into it!
WOW, CONGRATULATIONS ARE DE RIGUER! A GREAT GOAL FOR A WONDERFUL ARTIST! GO, BILL, GO GO!
Huge congrats Bill, 700's a great milestone, 300 in 12 months :) I've enjoyed every one (even if I have not commented on all). This is a great collage and shows the diversity that makes you so popular with so many. My glass is raised to you and a glorious 1000.
Congratulations on your 700th posting, quite a milestone and achievement.. Looking forward to your next 700.. love the collage also very lovely examples of your splendid work.. Keep it up and good luck with Raw..
Exquisite collage depicting your past prize photos, Bill! I see you included Mandy among the leaders. And, congratulations on reaching the heady pinnacle of 700 postings. As for RAW, I've never messed with it. I'm busy enough just doing postwork on my regular stuff.
Wow! Congratulations, Bill! I'm catching up to ya - ony 600 to go LOL! Yes, Rendo is MOST addicting! I joined in August of 2009 shortly after buying Poser, and now, I can't go one day without stopping by! Great art, great folks, it's, well, great! I'm going to have to experiment a bit with RAW, myself - if I ever get to the point where I'm not trying to do 793,778 things all at the same time. I think 'multitasking' is highly over-rated! LOL!
A super collage for your 700th posting. A wonderful achievement and I thank you for sharing with all of the addicts on RR. I took a look at that RAW posting and it does look great it kinda gives another dimension. I can see you having fun with that.
the only reason I seldom use raw is it takes up lots of room on your card and can be slower to process than jpeg. they say if one takes a picture correct to begin with raw is not needed for the extra room for post work. of course I am not one to take perfect shots and sometimes use editing congrats on a very fine gallery and I look forward for your next 1400
congrats, Bill wonderful work smiles warm hugs, Linda
Great collage, Bill; congratulations on 700. Now on to 1000! You know I think raw is the way to go. It's a bit more work, but the added flexibility is worth it. I'll dig up some links for you.
Congrats on your 700th. Always good to see your work. Aloha
