i was using another character in this image, but pearl3d had sent me her new character Samaya and could not resist using her right away, thanks peggy, love this fine model hon..
this newpaper is from adamwaites but i completely reformated the entire front page, did it all, right down to the finer print actual stories, you might make out some of the finer printed words.
took about 5 hours of designing, thinking, repositioning and story ideas. thinking of mina, peggy and johnny on the main stories, and the added artist interviews with a few of my dear friends. my fave of this newspaper design is "saying goodbye" to our dear friend mina. hope you all like the results..

I went to a trade school for copy prep Steve... I worked for Coors, TV facts, the Jewish News, just to name a few. Your front page layout looks like you know what you're doing - did you ever do newspaper/magazine paste up/layout??? I love your front page, so much going on. I zoomed in and then enlarged to try and read it, just couldn't make most of it out. It does look sweet and I did notice you put me on the cover of the Rosity world News - thanks bro for thinking of me... I still have to do some images for Johnny5 alive... Hopefully soon.... I had to go back up and look at it - just a super job, the pictures even look like they're halftones - lol... I wonder if they still make the prints the same - probably not, a lot has changed since I did that type of work in the early 80s.

This is just awesome. You really put so much of yourself into this, and it shows. It's beautifully done. Every single little detail is there. Magnificent work, and it touches a lot of hearts here. I can even read pretty much all of the front page! I do stop and look often, even though I don't leave many comments. Just want you to know that your work is awesome.
