Description
Walking thru the redwoods is always about the light. The trees are so high and so dense, you get a sense of being in another world. Once in a while, you come upon a ray that's so bright and so sunny, it stops you in your tracks. That's what happened when I saw this iris--it was as though a spotlight was shining directly upon it. A gift from the sun.

Spot light center stage! very nice!
I've seen light that intense, and it's just like this photo: eye-grabbing and strangely hypnotic...and to top it off you've caught it on an iris...and well...just look at those textures and that color! This is super stuff! you and the Great Redwoods are really good at this collaboration thing.
Wowww ... the light in there really did a great job on this flower! Excellent capture.
Perfect lighting for this Iris. Beautiful color and veining. Dana
