Description
This is a view from the corner of Muizenberg beach, Cape Town, along the coast to Kalk Bay. The railway line run all along the coast from here to Simon's Town, ±30km.

Wonderful tone and mood to this, and the composition is great! I wouldn't have known that for a rail line, but I saw a train show on public television a while back that talked about the Blue Line, and I saw electric arches like this. Our trains run on diesel, so there are no electrical tracks. You can't see a rail line here unless you're right up on it, or if there's a train running! Rail lines are just a bump on the landscape. This is one of those "locally exotic" shots for me ... something totally unfamiliar in my experience!
