Description
At the Palm Beach Zoo – this frog was sitting on top of a constrictor type snake.
Sorry about the poor quality but the glass was covered with kids finger and nose prints.
Thanks for stopping by, taking a look and for all your previous comments. They are very much appreciated.

Yikes, maybe the frog isn't edible to snakes and he knows it? Or else he's not real bright and it's another example of a self-cleaning gene pool? I know how those glass windows at zoos are, it's a real challenge to see, much less photograph anything! Nicely done!
Maybe the snake doesn't want to eat the frog because of the almost identical markings they share - Eating kin? Great capture
cool shot . wonder if the snake thinking of kissing the frog or just eat him?? something to think abour
I would have to agree with MrsRatbag on both the frog and the glass. I took a few shot of the snakes at the zoo, but the glass was worse then this and didn't get anything good. Great shot!
What a great shot! Their skins match. Incredible. I hope the toad doesn't get eaten.
The constrictor might have had a difficult time wrapping its coils around the little frog, otherwise the amphibian would have been dead meat by the time you snapped the picture. Fine capture considering the condition of the glass, Dana. You may have to tote along a spray bottle of Windex next time you go to these glass enclosed zoo exhibits.
I had a rescued timber rattler once that was huge. But they are known for their docile nature. It had not eaten in a very long time and needed food to gain strength to be released. I bought a feeder rat for it and dropped it in with the snake. A week later, the rat had made its perch on the back of the rattler. I ended up fishing out the rat with great admiration and kept it as a pet for the 3 years it remained alive. We named it Food. :-) She was a sweet rat. Sadly the snake died of natural causes from stress and Food died of old age.
Interesting...
wonderful image!!
Poor frog, You know he's not going to make it. Very cool shot though.
Amazing how they are the same colour, hope he wasn't put in as live food!!!!
