I have never experienced this vibe in South Africa before.
It is quite infectious.
This collage is just a small way in which I can share what local life has been like in the last two months leading up to the world cup. Most of the cars are in our parking lot at work (I raised a few eyebrows!).
The indoor ones of our offices at work where we have all been divided into teams to play foosball, quiz and penalty shootouts at lunchtime. Yesterday we were allowed off at 1:30 to get home, canteen, pubs, wherever to watch the opening game.
The rest are through the window of my car.
It is wonderful privilege to experience a nation united.

Oh Clive how marvelous!!! Yes, this is indeed country wide! We have the same scenes up north! I just absolutely love the vibe.... People are even more tolerant on the roads... everyone smiles... It is wonderful and I certainly am enjoying it (while it lasts!!!)... Excellent collage with our flag as backdrop!!!

Superb collage created by yo Clive. I must agree with Carin. The behavior on the roads has improved tremendously with the World Cup Soccer. The downside though is all The journalist that have been pestered by tugs and of course the security guards that went on strike hours before the match in Cape Town would have started. We must look past the downside as things like that will happen more and more all over this earth as has been written in the true word of the Lord.
Cool compilation - we got only cars with german flags here in Germany but yesterday I saw an Italien driver and fan I think.
