Description
This was my first patio project--laid every one of those pavers myself--and did the glass wall as well. Those are tomato plants in along the right, though now they have been replaced by that palm tree I posted the other day. I also have a rattan couch covered in a plastic tarp there now--waiting to be refinished!! I still use it a lot, it's warm and sheltered from the wind.
I think this will be he beginning of a tour of my garden and yard. Hope you like it!!

Sweet. I'll be over with the beers ASAP.
I remember when you did this! I'll look forward to the tour. :)
WHat a cosy little corner to just sit and sip a cocktail and ponder!!! I love it!
Lovely spot to stop and have a beer or coffee, very nice shoot! Oh and good work on the paving laying..
Great stuff! I have been hoping for a tour!
I am aboard the tour bus. Like your patio. I can feel the rays:)
beau coin!!
I think you're gonna get Renderosity Squatters in your garden: me foremost among them! I'll be the one looking for woodlice! I love the arrangement and your rather diagonal POV; it puts everything in its place but not in a rigid way, and that glass pane is a brilliant touch, a nice way to separate patio space from non-patio space without actually "breaking" space, if that makes sense. What I really like about this is the fact that margaritas would go so good in that spot! This is super stuff!
nice cozie spot
I sure remember when you started working on this. But I don't remember seeing a shot of it all done up with plants in place, etc. This is great! I know how good it feels to do it all with your own 2 hands and back. Nothing better. :-)
When are the margaritas being served? Great patio!
And in this corner, at 185 pounds, wearing the red trunks with the white stripe is....... This is your own private niche in your own Garden of Eden. Excellent shot, just flush with color and texture, Marilyn! Not an easy task, laying those pavers. If I tried that now, I wouldn't be able to get up.
wonderful shot and work too. lot of work went into this and a lot of thinking too.
such wonderful colors warm hugs, Linda
Great looking place to sit back and relax - I'm looking for a hammock as we speak. Can't decide between rope or canvas??? Dana
