Description
North coast of the Olympic Peninsula in Washington State, looking out over the Strait of Juan de Fuca.
It should be nice and calm on this side of that headland, since the wind comes in from the west. It's a good place to get your line wet, whether you catch anything or not.

sounds interesting getting my line wet muahahaha,and as i am not a fisherman,i mean i dont have the patience for it,done it a couple of times with a friend,but i was rather fishing the beerbottles in the canteen hehehe. we are off to luxembourg be back in a week.

Can you feel it PJ? Kicked back on the shore. Your lines are set. Each 10 foot surf casting pole in its' holder in the sand (you have two today). And you nibbling on a sandwich enjoying the scenery, and the late spring breezes and waiting for a line to run so you can jump into the action. Beautiful job tk. Happy Birthday PJ.

What a birthday present! I love this! It's so open and spacious, but not cold and austere as so much openness can be! It's funny but I can see a particular bunch of crazy Czechs and Russians colonizing that beach (and ruining PJ's fishing) as they break out their guitars, grills--well, rocks for a fire with wire grills laid over them, and loads and loads and loads of sausages of every conceivable variety. Funny how this sparked all of that. I love the mood of this photo and the magical postwork you've done is simply superb! Yeah, I like this immensely!
