Description
I would like to dedicate this humble work to all the servicemen and women who fought for us and paid the highest of prices, just that we now can sit tranquil at home and fart on our sofas and ranting and b...s... around.
Let’s at least pay some respect to these people.
I was trying here to add effects for the composition, but when seeing the report (over 4 hours on D-day) I found out that we cannot even get near to the effects what these soldiers went through,if people who where actually there say that they just want to forget theses horrible scenes, then I see whatever effects I could add I won’t even get near to it.
I wanted to point out the chaotic situation on Omaha-Beach.
So I just made it as good as to be presentable.
I read during my life quite a lot about d-day and saw also on the screen, but this time it was different.
This time I felt deep emotions for the young lads that went into the fire to liberate us from an awful regime, and I feel the deepest of respect.
Maybe it had to take as long as this to grasp what it was about.
I was always interested in history and logistics and strategics even fascinated, but I saw it always from a somewhat abstract point, now its different.
I will of course also do in the future a render with nekki soldiers on the beach lol,but I will place that in the spacko universe.
This scene was just rendered in daz,no postwork except frame and sig.

Magnificent work on this grand image Rene, it is a marvelous dedi
Wonderful dedication my friend, those were men of a special generation, the likes that I'm afraid we'll never see again. I feel especially grateful for having the opportunity to have spoken with many a veteran over the years and have never passed up shaking their hands and thanking them for all that they gave.
Great scene and work Rene, very well done....hugs Adrie.
