Description
The little pond had been dry for a longer time and finally came the rain, it was short and heavy before the sun comes out again, so the dried earth couldn't take all the water in, but I guess it will... now the toad is coming out again having a look over her changed habitat..
Hope you like it and thanks for all your wonderful comments and favs on my Chickadee and snake...smile

Nice render and lighting, beautifully done!
Wonderful story and fantastic scene. I feel sad knowing the pond will again run dry. Still the toad sits on his throne today overseeing his domain. Great scene, beautifully done.
Great imagination and composition! Nice idea and interesting scene!
Splendid post-rain nature scene, Ulla! I'm sure the toad will adapt to the new conditions. Incidentally, the Chickadee is the state bird of Maine.
Very tranquil and beautiful render. Dana
