Description
Another glimpse inside the Salt and Pepper Museum, located in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. The museum has a collection of over 20,000 pairs of salt and pepper shakers from all over the world. Hope you enjoy my series there are more to come, I caution you to be sure to watch your salt intake.. :)
Shake it up.

TCG: HELLO! GREAT work and narrative! I honeymooned in June of 1975 in Gatlinburg! HOT! (Weather ONLY). WINK.
Thank you I am stating to feel better... What an incredible collection they have and you are showing it off to perfection...
Great collection lynell..
It was also an album by Frank Zappa - Sheik Ur Booty. Madbat got it right. As Yakov Smirnoff used to say, "America, what a country!" This is a very humorous image. Well captured. We can make anything out of anything.
interesting place
These are fabulous! They'll make a shaker out of anything I guess. Hmmmm after looking at all of these I'm hungry!
Great shot. My ex used to collect and it is amazing what shapes and devices were made into salt and pepper shakers. Did you know that some of Dr McCoy's medical tools on Star Trek were salt shakers?
Nice capture and collection!
All very cute! (:
Nice shot.
Great presentation and fantastic idea...superb capture..!!!
My dr. always says to watch the salt, but I still have to have it on my eggs. ;c) Beautiful collection. I love vintage salt & pepper shakers, and I have a few pairs. I am sure this collection is fascinating to look at.

It's really cool what some designers have in their mind...nice shot.
Great shot of those cool and funny shakers !!
Nice photo. I like the McDonald's shakers.
These are really great collectors pieces you took here. Beautiful shot!
Wonderful selection! They look so garishly American. Except for the Caffe Italia which is a bit more understated. Great image and series!
