Description
Namibia 2010
I have added a softening filter on CS4 to try and enhance the feeling of desolation in this image. To me it is projecting the typical 'way to nowhere'! Image obviously shot in the Northern Namib Desert.
Thank you for your kind comments and favs on my upload "Patience" of yesterday! I truly appreciate your wonderful support!
Stay well!
Hugs

Wow, it is so desolate, did you drve that way!!!!
Barbara - yes, we did indeed!!!
Good heavens, an image reminiscent of the desert scenes in such movies as, Four Feathers, Flight of the Phoenix, etc., Carin! Terrific DOF, textures, and desolation at its finest!
now this to me is Africa ( one part ) ..altho you have photos that look so different from my idea of your country .. . excellent shot Carin
You didn't have to enhance this shot to show us desolation. If you looked up desolation in the dictionary - this would be the photo you would see. Super DOF. Dana
The dust and the heat - sweating and thirsty - will this track ever end? Well done! Clive
And to infinity, and beyond... As the saying goes more or less! lol. What a stunning picture. This really does show the vastness of the desert of Namibia.. Really good post and shot Carin.. Rob
