Description
We spotted these bright Pieris Japonica in late March in the beautiful gardens on the grounds of The Hiram M. Chittenden (Ballard) Locks near Seattle.

Wonderful shot.
Wonderful capture!
Beautiful indeed
I don't know how I missed this, but since I tend to miss a lot, I just chalk that up to my normal absentmindedness. Well, I saw it now and WOW! What a marvelous shot. I'm reminded of very strange fruits: white berries of some sort, with fluted bottom ends, or whatever you'd wanna call them. The fact that these are flowers is even more astonishing. They're so small, apparently, and there are so many of them...talk about extravagance! I love the light and that crisp, creamy white color! This is gorgeous.
