These are stunning! I love their fragile caps and their translucence! This is so perfectly captured. I have yet to try my hands with fungi of an interesting sort, but this definitely inspires me. This is just gorgeous. It also reminds me of a scene from the George Pal production of Journey to the Center of the Earth...one scene in which our intrepid heroes found themselves in an underground forest composed of giant mushrooms. I love the little blast from my past that this picture inspired. Super work!
Are these from Alice in Wonderland? Upside down shroomies.... Nice shot. Aloha
Almost like a gust of wind blowing the mushroom skirts up.... Nice shot. Aloha
Great shot...
Superb photo, looks like they want to reach the sky or something.
With me being gone for a week or so I missed the others! This is most wonderful Kort with perfect light!
LOL! I won't get sick of them as long as I don't eat them! ;)
great shot, like the sepia palette
Wonderful scene of a different world!
Stunning closeup photo!
Just like a heard (???) of mini wind blown umbrellas ! Nice scrolly fun and impressive capture ! ~Cheers~
Lovely lighting.
very very beautiful !
Inverted parachutes! Uber sterling focal play, light/shadow, stark contrast and textures in this wonderful composition, Kort! And as long as I don't snack on them, I won't be sick of them.
I couldn't get sick of these wonderful captures as they really are stunning.
Excellent capture.
This one by far is my favorite of the series; something about the lighting and POV get me. I can honestly say I never saw mushrooms like that before. Nice shot!
