Description
Andrea,...who sees faces everywhere, has got me looking for faces now too. Came around a big old fallen tree and saw this instantly...only trouble is this poor guy lost part of his jaw somewhere. And his body too. LOL
Added after the 13th comment below: I couldn't see the unicorn or the pony on the stick...until starring at this for awhile...then poof...there it was. Kind of like a Rorschach (inkblot) test.
This is along the trail to the Hall of Mosses in the Hoh River Rain Forest area of the gigantic Olympic National Park.
A wee bit more detail: Hoh Rain Forest
Will post a view of our campsite here too. Imagine the sound of a river washing over rocks about 15 feet from your open window all night...ahhh:)

is that Bull Winkle? well seen Bill
Oh, I like this quite a lot. I saw a face immediately, then I started thinking of J.R.R Tolkein's Ents, and couldn't get the image of this guy moving VERY SLOWLY as Ents tend to do...pursuing whatever agendas are of Entish importance. This is quite a fascinating image, and I really love the hanging moss, and the lush greenery. I could easily lose myself in a place like that, looking for woodlice, no doubt--or those strange "tree swimming" crustaceans I just learned about from Tara. I'm sure there are stories galore in a place like that and your photograph really captures that. This is quite amazing work!
Treebeard, right?????
cool unicorn, well seen and captured
fantastic capture!
Is this the lost art work of a unicorn? Great find!
I can see both... lol Does that make me good at something?? Brilliant picture.. Love these forest shots.. Awesome, mate.. Rob
This is literally outstanding, that face near that light-green moss. May I ask you, is this Andrea's face? Or what did you think of Andrea, by seeing this one? LOL. Seriously, this is a very special captured photo. And I'm also glad I've found your gallery.
Excellent capture and a great dedi. !!! Very well done, dear Bill !!! Hugs Karin:)
Great find and capture Bill. Before I opened it I thought it might be an old cow skull!
