Description

This is a medium sized Butterfly with about a 3" wingspan. As a means of protection, this species mimics the color pattern of Monarch Butterflies because Monarchs are distasteful to birds. I don't see these very often and this is the first time I have managed to get a shot of one. Thanks to those who take the time to comment. Lee
