Description
This donkey had decided to visit the nursery and maybe look for some nice agapanthus, strelitzia or any other bulbs to munch.
There was no confrontation; the dogs were quite inquisitive and nervous of the 'long-eared big dog'!
I walked up and closed the gate, the big dog weary of me now!
Enjoy!

cute pic, lovely lighting
Absolutely gorgeous shot, Clive..the backlight is perfection! Good thing my Fearless Fritzy wasn't there: although he is only about 8" tall he is a big-mouthed trouble maker.
Wonderful back lighting and a superb capture.
Great capture and great lighting.
Great back lighting and a great capture, like the cropping too.
Fantastic photo.
superbe photo!!
He looks harmless enough but no one needs a donkey munching in their flower bed:) Well lit and like your two day series.
OK!!!!! Not what I expected..But so cute. A great picture, that once again, works so well with the sun as a backdrop.. Rob
A very nice portrait. Like the others I like the backlighting.
He looks a sweet curious visitor; beautiful capture!

Beautifully captured and composed!
The light is perfect! What a wonderful image. I'm glad to meet your visitor ... he was worth the wait! :)
Nice shot with that back-light. I think the dogs would wonder about his voice if he tries to bark with them...
Incredible work my friend! This is a perfect example of superb backlighting! WOW!~ :)
wonderful capture. the visitor is a very handsome creature. something in the face just grabs me.

Aww, so he is a hungry donkey. Feed him an apple, or something. He is a cutie. Excellent image.
I am very pleased with this and you should be quite happy with the work.
