I'm in south Sweden, near Copenhagen. The sky is grey with a slight yellow tinge, and there's a slight odor of sulpher in the air. We're far from Iceland, but are getting it. The volcano is calculated to be spewing out 3 times as much sulpher as all of Europe's combined industries. The cloud is up to 55,000 feet high over Iceland. Some hiccup! :)

Yes the volcano has caused lots of problems hasn't it even down here we have people stranded. It is now a very small world. How nice not to have planes flying over all the same.

It is a very strange thing not have airplanes flying overhead. We felt like that right after the 9/11 event in NYC. One got used to the quiet skies .. and when a plane did fly over, it felt very strange and disturbing. During that time it was only the occaisional military plane. How quickly one gets used to seeing normal flight patterns resume. A magnificent capture
