Description
Jarred who is in the black on the flood now was winning in the frist round. he was hitting the other guy big time and even had him on the ropes useing him as a punching bag. But when jarred step back, down he goes. the other guy never touch him in the fightm You see here Jarred holding his achilles tendon for he was in pain. the fight was stop and the other guy win. Every one boo him but that how it is. Going to have a rematch later on. His sister told me Jarred achilles tendon was torn. I did look it up on the net and talked to some one who knows football and he say football players get them and they come back.
Hope it be ok. i could not find out which hospital he went too. all is hush hust for now.

An unfortunate turn of events, just when Jarred was on the brink of winning. I'm no expert, but I never heard of an injury like that happening to a pugilist. Hope he recovers post haste, Jock. In any case, cool shot of the ring action.

Tendon rupture could take some time if surgery is necessary, but is usually repairable. I ruptured a bicep tendon and the muscle completely pull away from the bone. Long story short, it got reattached and with time and therapy it is stronger than the original. Great coverage on all that led up to this ending. I hope it isn't the ending for Jarred.

My dad was a sprinter in college and he tore his Achilles tendon. It healed and he went back to track and field and was very successful - winning plenty of metals and competitions. I can imagine the spectators at this fight felt cheated...they wanted to see a man down from a punch but I'm sure when he comes back, he'll give them their money's worth.
