Description
Namibia 2010
This is the 4th image in the Spitzkoppe series that I shot in Namibia in February 2010. A couple of youngsters did some rock climbing and I was lucky to just catch one of them as they were coming down. Once again this helps giving a sense of scale of how enormous these formations are. I have circled her on the image!
Thank you for your wonderful support in comments and favs in this series! I am thrilled that so many of you are enjoying it!
Stay well!

Spectacular. Everything is so round, so mooth and so barren. Beauty in its' own right.
wonderful landscape !!!
Really amazing capture !
That is quite a climb. We watched rock climbers in Yosemite early last year, and I just don't know how they do it. ;c) Excellent comparison. That's a lot of rock.
I thought you were going to say you set your camera for delay and that it was you up there! Great capture, they really are huge!
this could easily be at Red Rock Canyon just to the West of Las Vegas. there is a very similar area there just like your capture
I just can't get over how smooth and worn these rocks are. This must be an ancient place, indeed. It's so beautiful!!
Wow, this really shows the scale---truly awesome view!!
