Description
Before you ask, I have no idea what it is.
The shot was taken two months ago and when I looked at it again last Sunday it was still exactly the same colour and shape.
Any ideas?

I think this could be some kind of Fomes or Bracket fungus. We got similar one here. Nice shot.
Oh hell no - don't ask me... I don't 'do' fungi! Hehehe... Super shot though Clive and it looks like you had great light too! :)
Nice shot, nice textures but I don't know what it is.
Those bracket fungi can dry and survive for years, and were used in the past as tinder for firelighting.
Ah, glad Andrea got here ahead of me...I'd have been of no help name-wise:) Neat image.
Outstanding capture Clive.

It's pizza! Obviously, I have no idea but I love your shot and the fact it's still there. Very interesting.
From death comes life. Great catch. Dana
Well whatever ... it's very photogenic! I'm glad there were other people who knew something, 'cause I'm no help.
