Description
Here can be seen Four different species of fishing birds. In the background (out of focus) there is a 'little egret' next is a 'heron' then a 'great white egret', which is very rare to see in the UK, and in the foreground is the beautiful 'king fisher'.
These birds were on the Chard reservoir back in late Autumn.

What a catch, Jeff! i've never seen the big Egret although we have plenty of the little one, Marvellous to see them all at once!
I like the fact they all lined up for you:) The only bird I've never seen in person is the King Fisher...(the one on the stick/pole?)...it is beautiful.
superbe scene ,bonne photo!!
You got quite a show. So whats the thing in the water that appears to have one eye and swimming towards the little birdies.... LOL
Great shot!
Great capture! Hard to get them together for a shot. :)
What a photo opportunity!! That little kingfisher is stunning!!! Must be a good place to fish!
Superb capture of those birds
Great capture !
Fantastic image. I like very much the colors
wonderful image!!
terrific party of fishers! ;-D great shot!
The Heron and Egret remind me of those hunting dogs that point when they find something. Wonderful to get them all in one shot. I saw a Great white egret fly by my house today, he was just gliding and it was so graceful. Great shot!
