I thought there would be some remorse in those responsible~ Instead something more insidious and callous has ensued. There has been no challenge to the circumstances surrounding this beautiful child's death. Instead those involved and (ir)responsible, have all pandered to assuaging their own guilt in this tragic episode, and somehow each of the posturing actors in this, has managed to garner empathy and support in-spite of the fact, that if dear Evangeline had expired because her mother had slept with her on an oversoft couch; as this irresponsible resource paternal grandparent ACTUALLY DID, all hell would have broke loose and they definitely would have taken her mother away in handcuffs! I am now seeking help in establishing more stringent guidelines concerning caregivers, infant's proper and safe sleep environment, and for a thorough investigation of the aberrant use of power by the state of nj, and it's agents to persecute, manipulate and disenfranchise those, it professes to want to help.
