Super shot. Well seen and well captured,
Great shot of the ocean's bounty; I always love digging through what's been tossed up onto the beach!
What colours they have! Marvellous!
Stunning capture Carin.
Black Mussels, they are the colours of the rainbow!!!!
SUPERB!!!
Beautiful photo!
cool natural still life
Great shot and fascinating colors!
belle photo!!
nice capture
I see the little piece of crab leg and I think of broiled crab legs or crab cakes, I see the mussels and I think of steamed mussels swimming in a rich butter sauce, but then I see the sea gull feather and I remember the gull swooping down and stealing French Fries right off my plate:) A neat beach scene Carin...fits perfectly with your series from Namibia.
Wonderful composition, fabulous colors.
wonderful detail and the colors are brilliant!
What a vast array of mussel shells atop the sand, Carin! At first glance I thought they were large beetles or cockroaches, lol. Great texture depicted, and the feather, possibly that of a gull, adds a bit of contrast and size relation to this fine image.
Great shot Carin! love the colours in the shells
Wonderful composition!
Excellent work. A fascinating collection.
I love the irridescence of the muscle shells. Such beauty! It looks like jewelry just waiting to happen. Lovely image!
Beautiful colors in the mussel shells. They are truly black on this side of the giant pond. The feather was a nice touch of contrast. Dana
What wonderful colors! When I was much younger we could find live black shelled mussels along our Southern California beaches. With the polluted waters we have today you can't find shells on the beach anymore.
LOL! You know how to make us take a closer look Carin :-))) I found the leg HAHAHA! Wonderful capture indeed. Stunning colors on the shells.
shells are so often overlooked but can make enchanting images. Well done Carin :)
One of my favourite seafood's, mussel yummy.
