Description
A test render of the first in my owl series, the Pueo (aka Hawaiian Owl). There's still some fione-tuning on the model and texture but I was happy with it to post ...and to tease those anxiously awaiting this project 8)
The Pueo is endemic to the Hawaiian islands and is a subspecies of the Short-eared Owl. It is endangered on O'ahu. They are strongly affected by light pollution. They are often killed in vehicular accidents in which they dive toward the headlights of cars, possibly in an attempt to hunt. Populations have dropped dramatically around newly-built roadways throughout the Hawaiian islands.
Rendered in Poser Pro with no post.

excellent Ken well done
Looking mighty good, even without the final morphs and fine tuning. You will have to do a good tree branch for the owls to sit on now lol. Jan
