Description
This panorama of Seattle's south side was taken as a single hand-held shot from the back seat of a moving airport shuttle van using a 12mm-70mm zoom lens and manual settings. I had tried it a month earlier with disasterous results (wrong shutter speed and aperture settings). Second time was the charm.
Several significant landmark buildings include Safeco Field (stadium on extreme left where the Seattle Mariners play baseball), Qwest Field (next stadium to the right where the Seattle Sea Hawks play football), the Space Needle with a rotating restaurant on top, and the 76 story tallest building in Seattle, The Columbia Center.
ZOOM worthy.

You do these so well. I would love to do one of Knoxville with the Sunshere that was built for the 1982 Worlds fair in the skyline.. Nice work..
Cool cityscape, Bill! I've been in that area a year ago, but never reached the downtown... my father was rushing me to take him back home...
Beautiful
I love panoramas and you have captured this scene so beautifully and clearly for a moving shot. Wouldn't know you were moving.
Beautiful capture of the city profile; you got it all there, I think!
Stellar capture Bill and the pano crop is wonderful. Dana
Lovely view of a fine city. I enjoyed my trip to Seattle in the '90s.
Great Panorama! Fantastically clear shot.. Best, as you rightly say, in zoom! Good one Bill... Rob
Fantastic panorama.
