Description
Admiral Hornblower, of the West Indies station, stood transfixed in the launch. He could not believe his eyes, a ship rigged; clinker-built, carvel with a steam engine?
The (latest) Dread Pirate Roberts: "Avast thar Admiral, I see yer ‘ere to pay yer respects to the ole’ Millennial Albatross!" "She may not look like much, but she has it where she counts!"
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
John 3:16-17 NKJV

The first new Hornblower for 45 years: well worth waiting for.
a female pirate... I bet that Englishman wants to pay a house visit - lol... pretty cool boat... I think the world did OK after Jesus left until we decided to start making machines - the car is going to cause the end of man - maybe by 2012... just, maybe.
Fantastic work my dear friend, everything is perfect here, congratulations!
Good one RG,great looking ship, and yes 2012 the end of the Mayan Calender that it is.
Well done scene!
From Mrs. RG19: He didn't mention it but RG had surgery on both eyes on Wed. The right retina had a tear and the left was completly detached. He was in surgery for a never wracking 3 hours for me. On Thursday the Dr. said the left eye was attached and he had almost perfect vision in his right. So that was good news. I don't think it was a coinsidence he had this ready to be posted by Mon. or Tue.
Great picture.Good luck with the eyes.
Great scene. Love the afternoon lighting.
sorry to hear that; there could be no worse fate for a visual artist. Recognized the references right off...if you can read this, keep up the good work!
That's a really cute ship model. Sorry to hear about your eyes. Have a lot of empathy for you--I've been having some difficulties with my eyes too. Different problem but equally serious. Not much fun is it? Glad to hear that you are recovering with vision in tact.
Remarkable work!
