I do not think they like to be call stret cars there but that what they are. I like the ladders on the building in back too. This is on Canal Steet.

At one time when it was builded it way the widest road in the U.S. Canal Street is often said to be the widest roadway in America to have been classified as a street, instead of the avenue or boulevard titles more typically appended to wide urban thoroughfares.

Yes, a streetcar is exactly what it is. I lived in one for two summers at a lake. It had been purchased from the city of Edmonton in the 50s, but it was smaller than this one.

Nice shot - very different to the trams we used to have and some of the modern ones that have recently been introduced.
Do they call them trolley cars maybe? Dunno, never been there. A great shot of New Orleans.
