Description
Captured today, 3/16/10, between 8:15 and 8:40 AM, about one-third of a mile from my harrowing haunt.
Much better viewed full size.
This is off an old metal gate. Oxidation most apparent under the flaked openings.
Ta-ta, thankx for coming by, and for any and all comments and faves.

you have such a good eye for this little things, Harry!
Gosh - who would ever have thought that it would make such great pics! Very well seen and captured Harry! This is very creative! :)
cool
Makes for quite the cool image Harry. I really like the shadows also.
You think of the littlest thing to photograph :) Nice job.
Very interesting series of images!
wonderful texture/structure! RS
Each of these is great on its own; well spotted and captured!
Keen eye Harry..and evident that there was no primer on the metal before painting..
Excellent Harry...thought you had caught some Navy ship in need of some TLC:) Well done.
Great shadow play Harry. Makes a good abstract.
The shadow of the last one looks a little like a bird in flight. Another nice collage.
And they are all faces!
Fantastic textures and beautiful play of light and shadows. Superb collage.
Cool collage!!!
Nice study of the peeling paint Harry. The third one down clearly shows that the peeling part was the paint that covered the old spot, left by the last bit of peeling paint. Your new avatar could be a posting of it's own. Dana
A great idea and excellent captures :) Hugs Karin :)
