I once read that more women than men are the victims of broken hearts...but that when a man's heart breaks, it breaks harder. I don't know....what do you think?
In this scene we see the moment in which a young woman has chosen to end a relationship with a man she does not love...leaving him even as he reaches out to the one his heart breaks for...

Beautiful work! I know I never really get over having my heart broken. I never understood how folks can fall in and out of love. For me its one or the other, and it never changes. If I fall in love I stay in love even if it doesn't work out. I know and understand intellectually that we are not compatible so I can deal with it in those terms, but the heart carries the wound always and time never fully heals. Can't speak for other guys.

Well I don't know if men fall harder then women as hearts and emotions are pretty equal when it comes to this topic. Men are so used to doing the dumping that when they get dumped it is more an ego thing than a heart issue.Oh well a philisophical debate. Excellent illustration of what you where trying to get across.

Fantastic image. I guess it all depends on what side you are..man or woman. We will always think ours is the worst. I'd have to say it's men though..and I am a woman. Men hurt easier is most ways..even with the flu :-) women are trained from day one to pick yourself up and move on no matter what. Even if it almost kills you. :-)
