Description
Those who have been interested in my previous photos of the F1 track in Melbourne might like to see an aeriel view. I jumped in the lift in a nearby tall building, and was able to get myself to a position where their wasn't any glass to try and shoot through! The F1 track is the road going around Albert Park Lake. If you go about 1 inch above the island in the lake, you will be able to make out pit lane and the finishing line etc. It is that long blue structure.
Just to help you get a better idea of where you are, if you headed out over the horizon at this point and sailed for about 150 miles you would hit the shores of Tasmania!

I like the view my friend. Thank you for taking us up the elevator. Outstanding capture.
Nice observation spot The landscape down below looks like a model!
Wonderful shot - the track by itself is great but I really enjoy how you've captured its surroundings and a lot more into this spectacular view. Well done.
