Description
You see the doctor helping the drummer boy in the middle of the photo.
I did some photos trying to get the feel of they was done in th e civil war.
people say they did Sepia but that not true. I saw blue and red and other colors too. most is blueish in tint. here is a link saying why they did this and not leave it black and white.

here the south is marching closer to the yanks lines as the north is withdrawing. They did loss this battle which was important as the north was trying to caputor Sherport and cut Texas off from helpint the rest of the South.
I was surpise to see how detail and how the contrast is on the real civil war photos. check them out with google
hope the little blue tint comes across
Great photo and post work, Jocko! I like the feel of this one
A very good idea to have played on the shades of gray ... your photo looks like a masterpiece ... a marvel of atmosphere, as always this information! Love always!
Excellent capture and great postwork too!
Love the tones..fantastic capture Jocko! :)
Cool postwork Jock! :)
that nice image :)
You know I bet standards in developing varied considerabley back then - So - You definitely have created a authentic illusion of a period dated photo I feel - Was not that a interesting period in time - equally violent but daily life I expect void of the chaos found today - Take Care -
Fantastic capture and mood!!!
That really looks authentic as an image! Great work!
REALLY GOOD TRY! IT LOOKS OLD!
Fantastic action shot! (:
A marvelous recreation....!!!
wonderful shot and work!!
Wow..excellent photo!!
jocks time machine!!!
Amazing shot my friend, great work. love it!
Another fine piece from this historic re-enactment.
You stood elbow to elbow with Matthew Brady to take this remarkable photo, Jock. I bet your equipment was more advanced than his. Civil War photographers worked out of a wagon. And, the Civil War pictures I've seen aren't in sepia. I hope the drummer boy wasn't badly wounded. Unless he was hit by cannon fire, who would want to shoot at him anyway?
It does look like an old picture, Jocko!
Hey hello there got time off --from sitting: By the way I like this I think you did a great job: thumbs up~~
I did not see any blue tint but you did an excellent job on post work making it look like an old foto
Great historical photo! Nice work on it!
This would have to be a difficult shot to take with any real feeling of originality and authenticity. If not for the cars in this, it would seem like it was taken at the time of the original battle. Outstanding work.
You really did a great job on this one Jock, I love photos like this
A little bit of clone tool work would remove those 1860-vintage pick up trucks! I had a similar problem with some re-enactors from the Revoltionary War period with 1778 Fords and Chevies until I sent in the clones. You can probably apply the wipe out even with this PW in place.
Much work for this fresco of time my friend. Cheer still. You do a splendid work. Mile mercies to divide ((5++)) Beaucoup de travail pour cette fresque d'époque mon ami . Bravo encore . Tu fais un magnifique travail .Mile mercis de partager ((5++))
