Description
I did some post work here to see if I could get the old photo look at the time they was printed in the 1800's and a little color painted on the photos. I would have put the photo side by side or on top of each other but I do not know how with the program I have on my lap top. I do have a program i can do it easy byt it do not work with vista.
thanks for looking and comments

I wish I was in the land of Dixie! Lock and load, men! We'll show them Yanks a thing or two! You came up with a pretty nice Civil War battlefield effect in this postwork, Jock.
Ol Henry he was a bit daft. Had to keep an eye on him, sometimes he'd forget and pack the canon ball than the powder charge. Yep gotta watch ol Henry.
This does have a very nice vintage look. Super photo Jock.
really good results Jock
Great capture, like the look you created!
At this point of the postwork I think I would have then darkened it again to bring out the contrast but given it the aging feel. Still, I like the way the characters have popped out with what you have done.
I just hope no one makes a mistake while loading up that canon. Interesting shot. Aloha
A little bit overlighted, but also a great one! Nice weekend hug's from Ute
Lookin' good Jock! Nice shot! (:
you got a somewhat wayback look on this one, Jocko, well done, and I bet they were loud those canons...smile
It is a very interesting series of photos!!!
WONDERFUL SHOT !
