Today is my 1200 upload and I want to thank you all for your wonderful support, which I appreaciate alot
Thanks to Mark, who reminded me of the number of uploads. Otherwise I hadnt discovered it LOL !
I celebrate it with this shot from August 2008.

Congratulations and bravo for this photo.
Lol, I knew you wouldn't remember! Well, you couldn't have posted a more beautiful image for your 1200th, partly because it's a wonderful macro (you do great macros), and partly because it looks like some of your wonderful abstracts, with all those geometric forms & lights & layers, etc. (I know it's a macro--that's clear--but it has your abstract qualities in it.) I love how the bee is swallowed in all that pink & violet, and its wings are like stained glass, and the petals are like rays of a sun, with that 'glitter' spread around---I assume that's pollen & other stuff that flowers give off...Well, you know how much I love your art, and 1200 is just another opportunity to say how great it is to come here, even when I'm not commenting (I'm always looking, as I let you know!). It's a gallery of such great diversity & styles, seriousness & fun, painting & drawing & digital art & photography, etc, and love of everything you see & do. Many thousands more, Helle! You're the best, and it's been a pleasure to come here these last 2 years. And the green here---I assume the leaves underneath the petals---looks like actual heart-shaped leaves coming out from his legs. Great added attraction. Love it! WOW! Look at those wings and that color! This is your trademark work, you know--brilliant color and wonderful details! I love the pollen grains on the bee itself and all of the wonderful textures of the insect, the insect fur, the wings, the flower petals...EVERYTHING is perfect! Congratulations on 1200 pieces and I look forward to at least 1200 more!
