Description
This is a spot on the dunes where the beach grass has been completely flattened by the waves that washed over it last month. Check out this shot to see what it looked like before!!

Well it certainly has changed must have been high tides last month.. Nice comparison..
Nice shot. Did the vehicle fall in the hole?
Gosh! I like all the tyre tracks.
Neat...I like the before and after:)
Great photo. You really have captured the power of the sea!
Capital POV employed to capture the excellent textures in this shot, Maz! Kinda looks like a combination of Sharky Hawaiian lava and a wheat field.
hard waves they was. wonderful image
Very nice!
Best not walk here at nights or Oooops? Aloha
It's odd that this also looks like a weathered lava flow. I love the moodiness of it and the kind of "barren planet" feel that I usually only get while watching science fiction television shows produced by the BBC in the 1980s...they all used barren beaches, abandoned quarries, and open fields as alien planets and they were ALWAYS the same barren beaches, abandoned quarries, and open fields...they'd have done really good to visit this place though. It's a fabulous shot, a really well-seen glimpse into the world you know so well. It also sets the stage for a drama of some sort as it resembles haunted moors or something. In short, there is so much mood in this, a whole wealth of stories could come out of it, and well...when a photograph does that, I'm as happy as a cat who has discovered how to break into the pet food pantry.
Great comparison! It will bounce back, and look all nice and fluffy again. I love the little tire tracks!
