Description
This started out as an ordinary photograph of a patch of very ordinary forest in the Skagit Valley.
I took all that green and ran it through Photoshop until I had this result. This is a single photograph, no layers, no painting, nothing but filters.
Whether you like the result or not, I hope you'll see that the possibilities in Photoshop are amazing, and that playing in postwork can produce some startling results.
Play around! Live a little! Try some filters! You never know what you might come up with.

Ooooo, I like this. Filters do provide a great range of effects. I have used a number of different filters...usually one at a time but I still want to take your advice and branch out to multiple filters and just see what happens! Your results here are quite inspiring:) Great title:)

I have Photoshop Elements 7.0, which I have a lot of fun on. I play a lot, but I feel like I've just scratched the surface. This is beautiful! A very lovely result and a great inspiration to play some more!
This turned out realy well. Honestly I don't miss the green tone at all. Gorgeous warm colors.

Its a very effective look.. I kinda like it myself... I have started playing more.. lol Fades etc.. I was wondering where you get this 'Flood' effect from? Could you advise... But, the picture, I do like so there (and no rant today! ...lol) Sorry for that! Rob

This has a wonderfully Japanese feel to it--kinda of like electro-boogie Zen, as only you'd experience in Tokyo's Ginza district...well...come to think of it, maybe it's not Elvis-garish and Anime neon enough, but still...it has a more classical Japanese vibe. I'm gonna go find some koto music and see what happens when I listen to it and look at this photo. The work you've done here is fantastic. Photoshop is amazingly fun! I don't have it on this computer, and it'll be a while before I acquire it, but still, I know and love the joys of Photoshop quite well. The Gimp works reasonably, but there just isn't as much you can really do with it...well...there is...but you have to fiddle with half-measures a lot more. But anyway...enough of that. Back to this wonder of photographic art. In short, I love it!
