Interesting Pic. Something is always intriguing about Cemeteries.
impressive scenery! reminds me of the large semeteries in Iraque! ;o)
Is it concrete? Or some kind of Sandstone...? Does remind me of Eastern Cemeteries... Intreesting... Rob
very interesting!
Great series of photos! I love the differences withing the three shots
This is fascinating! Our graveyards are so different ... terrain is everything. Thanks for sharing these!
Amazing how the graveyards change from area to area. Great shot!
WOW! Again, I'm reminded of ancient sarcophogai in some mythic desert... and the shape of those vaults is quite intriguing...they look almost like beds with ornate headboards...or like comfy couches on which to watch television in the afterlife. This is incredibly fascinating, and it's inspired me to go graveyard searching for myself. I have to say though, sand in a graveyard? Who'd have thunk it? What I really enjoy is the sense that these are monuments to actual human lives, and they're understated but with a sense of dignity. I really appreciate that.
So you don't need gravediggers!
Outstanding capture my friend.
They do look like sarcophogai. The lack of lawns and such give it an ancient, abandoned look. Striking image.
