Description
Ooh what's this? US and UK space programmes could merge?
What is Prof Q thinking? How could he sell out like this?
I blame those fools in whitehall - blinkered and shackled in their pre-war thinking.
Bah!
This is the 25th SSD cover I've done and it's one of my most dramatic I feel.
Another of Duo's lovely rockets and some weird asteroid thingies.
All rendered in good old Bryce.
Thanks for looking, chums...
Iain
(Bugger - just spotted a word missing... it should read "Professor Quatermass DISCUSSES the..."... oh well)

Brilliant work as always on your Silver cover. Love the meatball asteroids; they reflect well the imagination of that era.
Remind me..was'nt Dr von Tankslapper responible for the WW2 German X2 rocket project..and the Nazi Visiting Mars operation?
Wonderful work, love the whole series
Excellent work! It is very creative and effective, I'm sure I saw this in the store the other day.
A missing word....that makes this priceless if corrected in the next print run. Though let's be honest...they're ALL priceless.Another great picture Iain and a fine body of work.
marvelous series!! splendid work!
Oh..the ESA's not gonna be happy about that...;) Great work, takes me back..
Fantastic work! Corrie
Great cover work! :)
What are they thinking indeed? As my old Grandfather moaned on reading this, "Do they know what this will lead to, the death of the British Space Program and eventual development of a space shuttle where Astronauts will no longer be explorers, just mere bus drivers".
Who cares about the word! As I scanned the cover (as you do in shops!) I NEVER even noticed.... So, I love it.. Rob
Awesome.
Great rocks! And super retro design as ever!
Smashing!
