Description
Does anyone know what type of bird it might be? Some kind of pigeon perhaps? It had a distinctive point on it's head.

Outstanding capture my friend. I do not know this specie of bird.
don't know! Sorry! Great shot
might be a quail, can't quite tell--but nice to see some life there!!
It looks kind of quail-ish as beachzz pointed out, but I can't be sure. It's a rather extravagant creature: nothing like the things we get here in Chicago. And as for the picture, I'm immensely drawn to MEADE and I wonder who that person is and what he or she was like. Another great addition to your gallery.
Yeah.. Some kind of Quiail.. I think.. If you have them there? Rob
It does look like some sort of quail the ones I'm use to are more brown, Great shot of all the stones in the light!
Looks like a brown quail also called a swamp quail? Great shot! And for the lighter side... Maple Glazed and Grilled Quail To serve, spoon some of the vinaigrette over the birds and sprinkle with minced scallion.
i do not know but I like the graveyard here
The head crown looks like it is in the quail family. Did you realize that there was a headstone with "Andrew" on it? Dana
