Description
Just a quick one tonight, in between several WIPs.
I'm still playing with Kazmir and the Old Factory - and a few other things.
I've changed her dress, and the color on her shoes (which MrsLubner really likes :-D). Mresty suggested the Simple Details morph to improve her armpits - EXCELLENT tip, Mike! Thanks so much! Don't know how I missed that one - it really makes a difference in V4s armpits.
I also gave the hanging light a green color, and fixed the off-center light bulb (hey, it's an OLD factory LOL! There's been no maintainance for years - the socket was being held in by one screw!), changed the view a little, and played with a few lighting effects in Photoshop.
I think I like this one better.
I'm going to be playing with this quite a bit, I think.
To answer Mike's question.... Unfortunatly, I never did get to do a model shoot in Fairfax. Bummer. I'm certainly still open to the idea, though, if the right model happens along! It will have to wait until warmer weather, though!
Thanks for all the comments, ratings, faves, and suggestions! They mean a lot! Hope everyone has a good week!

Very nice work! It's a good thing that this area doesn't have grates for the flooring - her shoes would be broken in seconds, if not her foot, ankle, or leg!
killer scene rod, love the lighting alot and atmo of it. what's a babe like her doing in a place like this in that pretty dress...
Another excellent work! the light corn effect is very nice! you did very well.
Amazing Rod, it's a esplentid atmosphere, pose and character, very well done!
Wonderful post. Wish all my experimernts turned out so well :) Nice.
Superb scene Rod She looks great, those shoes up.. there scary mate. excellent work on this mate well done!!
yeah v4 s armpits are her disease from the beginning but with simple inection it works well depends on pov and pose of course.in extreme poses it can even look silly. its out for v3 as well and 3dc made also some fixes for the legs.freebie. well done working in that factory, its really worth doing more scnes,i have a couplon from rr and before dia 25 i must buy hehe hup to the shopping spree ccards at the ready lol.
Very nice Rod...I like seeing comparative versions to look for the differences.
Love the lighting and the dress!
Rod, way cool!! I liked the dress and shoes in the other post better myself...lol...this dress is great too, don't get me wrong...wow all the changes you made are awesome! Super lighting work and image enhancements!! I always have to mess with the armpits...usually have to sue a smoother (sorry can't remember the name). EXCELLENT WORK as always my friend!! Have a good week!
Excellent image!
Very nice scene. Great character, lighting and background! Really nice work.
Very nice Rod! I, like Rainastorm, personally prefer some bits from this version and some bits from the other. First: I LOVE the lighting effect. VERY cool the way it shines down and out as it would in the natural world. Though I'm not sure that it doesn't pull my attention away from the main subject. Might be just me. Second: The lovely lady's armpit area definitely looks more natural. But, my personal tastes prefer the other outfit from the first version. Again, that's just me. We all have our own preferences. Glad you kept the nighttime city scape photo in the background. That's REALLY nice. The pose with the slight lifting of the hem of her skirt is kind of sexy, but I think she looks more ... model-ish (LOL) in the original. LOL, funny thing about the off center light bulb ... I never took note of it in the original. Perhaps for the same reason you mentioned - being an old building it seems to fit in. Anyway, long story short - NICE JOB my friend. PS: When is G4 coming back? LOL. You have reputation to maintain.
Excellent concept and stunning render!
Well, my friends, I think you can count on a new G4 pretty soon. After all, after Rose's (rainastorm) karate guy kicked a hole in my screen, I just HAVE to do something with The Girl in response! LOL! I just can't stop playing with this Old Factory - it's like a drug. More coming soon. I haven't even started with the Hype Club yet. God knows what that will start :-O Thanks for all the great comments and suggestions!
Great work on this wonderful scene my friend, excellent done.
Very nice scene and character. Great pose, lighting and effects! Really nice render, Rod :)5*
Great image, the city through the windows is a perfect touch.
Facinating Textures ! ! ! ! !
I like the contrasts; almost like Beauty and the Beast!
