If you have an affinity for fancy hotels this tops any that I've seen to date!
This is the exterior of the Las Vegas hotel, "New York, New York".
I am originally from New York so I may be a bit biased, but just look...The Statue of Liberty, The Empire State Building, The art-deco Chrysler Building just to name three. And that is a real wild loop-the-loop type roller coaster whipping around the entire building.
I rode the roller coaster with somebody in my family and as much as I hate to admit it, I closed my eyes through the loop...but regained my composure during the barrel-roll. LOL.
The name of this roller coaster for you coaster fans is, "The Manhattan Express",...the Las Vegas version of the New York Subway System.

P.S. The MGM Grand Hotel with its' regal Lion sits directly across The Strip from New York, New York.

Woah, totally amazing....never seen anything like it in my life!! I've got to check the link you provided, toooo kewl...lol
Speechless!
Nothing is "real" in Vagas.
Wow...that is some hotel!! NYC scaled down dramatically, LOL. And I think I'll forego the roller coaster...too chicken!!
Excellent capture! very colourful as well
It does look great, during the day. But I'd have to say that the Luxor looks best at night.
It's a place of excess for sure; fantastic shot!
Excellent capture!!
Huge. Somewhere I read it has its own postal Zip-Code.
Un-freaking-believable!! Only in Vegas.... I've seen a few pics of this on TV, but you've really captured the magnificence here. They've pretty much put the entire city in one building. Amazing! I would imagine a room in that thing costs about as much as the daily operations of the real NY,NY. One hack of a capture, Bill!
WOW & WOW again, I knew I'd love your trip away Bthat sure is an hotel, fabulous pic. I knew I'd love your trip away Bill!!!!!!!!!!!!
Fantastic memory, turn around and you see the Eifel tower, great shot! RS

The architecture of that hotel is absolutely brilliant! What a treat to see it through your lens. Excellent image! Thanks for the link ... I feel pretty smart now! :D

Beautiful capture Bill now this is amazing. To have all that in one building is amazing.. top job on capturing this one!!
Great shot. I haven't stayed in NY, NY but have visited ( translation lost money at) it a couple of times. I'm planning an Las Vegas getaway in March, I'll have to check it out again.
WOW this is cool and fun warm hugs smile, Linda
i love those kitsh buildings in Las Vegas..and especially the reproduction of famous towns like in a theme park!!
Great shot! Thank you for sharing!
Gorgeous architecture...in all Las Vegas Area :)
New York, New York, all compressed into one small plot of Sin City. Super stellar 3D perspective effect in this marvo capture, Bill, not to mention the fabulous clarity and light/shadow contrast! You get to have all the fun, and no way do I go on a roller coaster ride, not at my advanced age!
Everything in one city! Great shot!
really interesting.. and nice vibrant colours in your capture
Amazing hotel with a roller coaster. As we say down here, 'Only in America'. A wonderful capture and you do sound to be having fun.
Heck yeah! Awesome architecture and view, excellent shot!
Fantastic work.
Vegas doesn't do anything halfway--what a great shot. I'd be on that roller coaster every chance I got--I still love em!!
This is astonishing! The one thing I can say about us American sorts of people is we'll find a way to put a roller coaster anywhere and for as old as I'm likely to get, I love them. I haven't been on that many but the few that I've experienced were fun...especially the one that had a bit of a gastric surprise (Long story...I was a witness to it but not a participant, thankfully!.) Anyway enough roller-coaster-rambling. I really love the delirium of this shot...yeah, it's New York, only with a roller coaster zipping around it. Wonderful details and superb color sense. I love the name Manhattan Express for many reasons, the most obscure is the fact that it's a club in Moscow, intimately associated with one of my favorite people on earth. Great work!
Wow! I cannot even imagine anything like that. Clive
