Ha!! Fooled ya---NOT the boobies you were perhaps expecting!! These are blue footed boobies, a seabird found in Mexico and other place. You can't see them here, but their feet ARE bright blue. The bottom one is a chick. This was on an island off the coast of Puerto Vallarta, and since not many people go there, these birds practically let you go up and pet them. Right on the other side of them is a very LONG drop down to the water, I decided not to get any closer!!
This was scanned from an old 35mm foto, amazing how many of those I still have!!

I like boobies! And I love the title. This is a great shot. The only boobies we have in Chicago are the kind employed at restaurant/entertainment chains like "Hooters" and so we're pretty starved for the avian sort, which I prefer. I love your POV in this, you're right on the same visual level with them and that young, fluffy one looks rather intent on being somewhere just out of frame. I like this shot a lot!

Last time I was in The City at the beach, I spotted a pair of boobies basking in the sun...and she didn't even cover them up when we walked by her!!! (OK, that's not all that funny...but it did make me feel better to say it) I have seen these before and they are very interesting. They stand out from the other water fowl for their strange shape and coloring.
I love the color of their feet! I can see them, even though they don't show in the photo. Great depth and composition.

Stellar light/shadow effects in this lovely nature capture! This magnificent area could easily pass for the Galapagos Islands, made famous by Charles Darwin. And I should have known...you sure had me fooled with that title, Maz; I was expecting to see the most alluring part of the female bod.
I like this a lot. I like the title. It makes me giggle! I wish I had more internet time because I want to catch up on the other stuff you've been putting up, but I couldn't pass this by. The POV is really nice because I can't tell where exactly you're standing (in terms of height) and that's really a good thing. It's almost like a stealth photo of a pair of boobies on a booby training mission where the little one is learning the ropes. I have a question: would a single booby be called a boob? Just wondering.
