Description
I’ve found a second nesting Great Blue Heron with a new born chick. The chick still has his white “pin feathers”. You can’t believe the size of this nest. He will turn gray in a few weeks. Herons are about 46 inches (117cm) long and a wingspan of 72 inches (183cm). Taken at the Wakodahatchee Wetlands.
