I found the spider's web really interesting. From a distance it looked like it was catching fire! NOTE: Although I have been posting shots from a Taxidermy exhibition, this guy/gal was very much ALIVE!

Yeah, you sure wouldn't want this guy to come running if you called your dog--he is a fuzzy thing for sure. I used to see these in Arizona when I lived there as a kid--my brothers would of course chase me with them. The more I screamed, the longer they'd run after me. FInally, one day I just stopped, said, "hey let me see that thing" Totally ruined their game!!

Ooh, I love spiders, especially big hairy ones! This is a beauty! I love the details you caught here and it's funny for as scary as these things apparently look, they're probably so disinterested in us that the collective human ego will suffer the biggest blow in history if we ever found out. Their American cousins, mostly desert dwellers, tend to make good pets. This image is amazing, and I have to catch up on the ones before it. I'll be doing that later tomorrow...it's bedtime for me now as I'm making this comment at 2:30 am and I have to get up in 3 hours!

Really good and clear shot.. You have done well... Although I have a thing about Spiders, I DID swallow my fear and hold and stroke a Tarantula! It actually felt like a Hamster... Really!.. Mind you... it didn't run! Just walk v...e...r....y slowly! I ca deal with that! lol Rob
