Description
Captured way back in 9/05, in the beautiful South Coast Botanic Garden located on the beautiful Palos Verdes Peninsula in Southern California.
And snapped several months before I joined the photography section of Renderosity. The camera I used has long since gone belly up.

Very beautiful flowers and photographs. Reminds me of warmer days.
Used on an extinct camera! lol These are fine looking flowers.. Beauties in the sun! Glorious, my friend.. My Father used to love growing these.. Well done... Rob
Never had any luck growing Dahlias, but these are are pretty.
Just what I needed to see a sunny and pretty photo such as this... Lovely work.
These are gorgeous shots. Awesome.
Beautiful light! I love their huge heads lifted up as if they are soldiers standing watch! They stand tall and proud in the gorgeous light! Simply beautiful captures Harry!
Beautiful capture and love the lighting. Dana
I love the sunlight coming through! It gives such motion to the image. The petals on the flower on the top right of the second image make me think of dancing flames. I like its darker center with the bright petals around it. Both pictures are beautiful and I love that one flower!
