Description
I have captured this image last summer at the Walter Sisulu Botanical Gardens here in Johannesburg. I have no idea what it is called and I'm hoping Andrea would know! I just love the green and white flowers with the yellow naughty bits! Most unusual!
Thank you for visiting and for your wonderful support in comments and favs!
Stay well!
Hugs

Wow, this is sweeeeet!!! Dunno it's name, but certainly it is a very beautiful plant
What a lovely blossom cluster! I do love the striped flowers ... so unexpected! The yellow bits really set it off well. :X:X mis jou! :X:X
Funny how flowers are so flagrant with their naughty bits and no one bats an eyelash at that...but I could rhapsodize forever about the naughtiness of flowers, but I won't. Instead, I'll just sit back and marvel at whatever this specimen is. I have no idea what, but it's lovely! Those flowers are amazing, especially with those green stripes. Fantastic work, as always!
great macro!
WONDERFUL
I know this plant, its a pregnant onion :). Very nice shot of the flowers
Pregnant onion? With it's naughty bits exposed it's no wonder. A lovely plant, it looks like a painted glass sculpture. A wonderful image.
Beautiful macro.
Carin...you may not have known the name for sometime...but you never take or present a bad photo on Rendo. This is beautiful:)
Splendid flower! :)
The entire stem is beautiful Carin but the tiny flowers, are not only beautiful but also very delicate. ZOOM is a must. Dana
Between you and Clive, you can publish a new wildflower coffee table book... how does that sound?? beautiful picture - love the focus point...
I agree with cfulton on the name We grow and sell these as a succulent although they are a bulb. Great shot.
Great picture! If you go through a few hundreds of Liliaceae, you may find it!
